1) Online on www.fcbarcelona.com/info-tickets

The best way is online via the official website of the club. It’s easy and fast. You can select the exact seat from which you’ll watch the game and even see a 3D- view of the pitch from that seat.

You can buy up to 6 tickets. You pay with credit card. Have your tickets printed or on your smart phone to enter the stadium.

Most seats are available in the week building up to the match. We explain why below. If you can’t find tickets at some point in time, then check again a few days before match day. There will be more seats available.

2) In fanshops in Barcelona city centre

The offical fanshops of FC Barcelona offer tickets too. They are conveniently located throughout the city.

• Airport and main train station:

– Barcelona El Prat airport: fanshops in terminals 1 and 2.
– Barcelona Sants train station (if you arrive with high speed train)

• The city center:

– Ghotic quarter
– Plaça Catalunya
– Next to Sagrada Familia

• Main shopping centers:

– Maremagnum (at the bottom of the Ramblas)
– Las Arenas (Plaça Espanya)

3) At Camp Nou Stadium

Your third option is to buy tickets directly in the Camp Nou stadium. The ticket offices are open on match days untill kick off, except for the game against Real Madrid and important Champions League matches. Of course you can also buy tickets on non match days.

Exact math date not announced until 2 weeks before game

The big televison companies that hold the rights for the Liga decide ‘as they go’ when games are played. A game that is scheduled for a particular weekend can be played as early as Saturday noon or as late as Sunday night. The exact day and time is not fixed until 10 to 15 days before the match.

Take this into account when you book your citytrip to Barcelona. If you want to attend a game and book your flights and hotel well in advance, then book untill Monday. This season Barça already played 3 games in Camp Nou on Sunday at 9PM.

More tickets available as match day approaches

This has to do with Barça’s ‘free your seat’-policy. This system enables season ticket holders that can’t attend the game to return the purchased ticket to the club. These are then put to sale and that’s why ticket availability is constantly changing.

So although there may be no tickets available at a certain time, more could become available closer to the match. An average of 18.000 seats are freed for matches in the Spanish League, and normally about half of these (9.000) are not freed until the 3 days prior to kickoff.

Buy seats together?

Although tickets are available for almost any Barça game, it might be hard to find two or more seats located next to each other. You have the most chances of doing so on the days closest to the match day.

If you can’t sit next to each other, you can buy places that are located in the same zone. If the game is not sold out, you might find a few empty seats where you can sit together.

The better the opponent, the more expensive the tickets

For example, this weekend you can already attend the game against ‘weaker’ Rayo Vallecano for 23 euro, but against ‘stronger’ Valencia (game in April) you pay at least 69 euro, that’s 3 times more.

The better the view, the more expensive the tickets

The seats highest up in the 3th ring are the cheapest. Seats in the 2nd ring in the middle of the ground are the most expensive. Take for example the upcoming game against Real Societat: the cheapest 3th ring tickets are 59 euro, the most expensive 2nd ring seats are 169 euro, that’s almost triple.

Conclusion: if you want cheap Barça tickets, choose a game against a weaker opponent and seats in the 3th ring.

At the beginning of August, tickets for all games including the one against Real Madrid are put to sale online. That’s the first time you should try to buy. If you aren’t lucky then, check again a few days before the match: tickets might have been made available via “free your seat”.

Viagogo.com or Stubhub.com

These are online ticket marketplaces. Expect to pay very high prices. At the time of writing, some 3 weeks before Barça-Madrid, the cheapest ticket on Stubhub is 809 euro, on Viagogo almost 900 euro.
