Join me for a 3-hour walking and biking adventure through the real Barcelona.
We’ll discover authentic corners of the city together, far from the big crowds — with a little break in a cozy local tapas bar for some pintxos and a drink.
It’s relaxed, private, and completely adapted to you — your interests, your rhythm, your vibe. 😊

Meet My Barcelona isn’t a “tour factory”.
I (Mark) personally guide every single tour — no random freelancers.
I only do 4 or 5 tours per month, so I can keep things high-quality, unhurried, and personal.
You get my time and full attention.
Your tour is 100% private.
No strangers, no mixed groups.
That means we can go at your pace, dive into the topics you care about, and shape the day exactly how you want it.
Halfway through, we’ll take a short break in a typical tapas bar.
You’ll enjoy three pintxos (small bites) and a drink — all included in the price.
It’s a relaxed, tasty moment to soak up the atmosphere like a true local. 🍷
A great tour starts with a great guide 😉
I’m Mark, a Belgian who’s been living in Barcelona for 20 years.
I speak Spanish and Catalan fluently and love to share stories, culture, and insights about life here — the kind of things you won’t find in guidebooks.
We’ll explore the narrow medieval streets on foot, then hop on bikes to see the modern side of Barcelona.
It’s the best of both worlds — slow enough to enjoy the details, fast enough to see a lot. 🚴♀️
When you book your tour, you’ll receive my Insider Tips PDF — packed with local restaurant suggestions, hidden gems, and practical advice.
It’s everything you need to make your trip unforgettable (and stress-free 😉).
And if you want, I’ll gladly help you fine-tune your travel plans before you arrive.
Hi! I’m Mark Meesen, a Flemish Belgian from Borgloon 🇧🇪
I’ve been living in Barcelona for 20 years now.
Before moving here, I studied Sociology and Economic Policy at KU Leuven and European Studies at Louvain-la-Neuve, and I worked as a political advisor in the Belgian Parliament.
Here in Barcelona, I run a travel company called Nessout, and in my spare time, I love showing visitors around my city.
Barcelona has been my home for two decades — and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Absolutely! The tour can take place on any day of the year. Just tell me the date that works best for you, and I’ll do my very best to make it happen. Barcelona is beautiful all year round, so there’s never a bad time to explore it!
Since it’s a private tour, we decide the start time together. Morning or afternoon – whatever fits your schedule best.
Around 3 hours – sometimes a little more if we’re having too much fun 😉
If you have plans right after the tour, just let me know and I’ll make sure we’re back in time.
We usually start at Plaça Catalunya, Barcelona’s central square.
But if your hotel or apartment is more convenient as a meeting point, I’m happy to start there instead. Flexibility is part of the deal!
Halfway through the tour we take a little break in an authentic local tapas bar.
You’ll get three pintxos (delicious small bites on bread) and a drink of your choice – all included in the price. A perfect moment to relax and chat!
That would be me – Mark Meesen, a Belgian from Borgloon 🇧🇪

Here in Barcelona, I run a travel company (Nessout) and guide small groups through the city I love. Guiding is my passion!
Nope, it’s just you and your group! No strangers joining in.
That means I can fully adapt the tour to your interests, rhythm, and mood. 100% private and personal.
Not at all!
We take things easy – a short walk (about 30 minutes) and then an easy bike ride on flat roads.
Lots of breaks, stories, and photo stops. We even have a tapas break in between – so don’t worry, it’s not a workout 😄
The walking part is around half an hour, nice and relaxed.
The biking part takes about 2.5 hours, covering roughly 8 km on flat terrain with frequent stops.
You’ll hardly notice the distance – there’s too much to see!
Yes, absolutely.
We only ride in safe areas – quiet streets, parks, along the beach promenade.
Whenever there’s traffic, we stick to bike lanes.
Your safety and comfort are my top priority 🚲
A mix of both!
I’ll show you the secret corners most tourists miss, and a few must-sees.
We don’t visit Gaudí sites like the Sagrada Família – those are easy to explore on your own.
But I’ll share insider tips on where to buy tickets and when to go to avoid the crowds.
Of course!
When you book, you’ll receive my Insider Tips PDF full of local restaurant suggestions, activities, and things to do.
And if you need more help later on – just send me a message.
I’m a local, and I know this city inside out. Happy to share my favorites with you! 😎
